Working From Home Wardrobe Essentials

Hi! Long time no post!

Here in Seattle we’re currently a few days into a strongly recommended social distancing quarantine thanks to COVID-19, and I’ve been working from home for the last week and a half. Cabin fever has naturally led to some online shopping, mostly for things I can be comfortable in while I’m in the house for the foreseeable future. Here’s a few things I’ve picked up or have my eye on:

Support but make it comfortable: A couple of recent updates to my bra collection

I got this stretch satin bralette by SKIMS in light brown (Jasper) and black (Onyx) and LOVE it for daily wear. The satin gives it sheen & makes it wearable alone – which I’ll save for the summertime when it’s a bit warmer :).

I also got this crossback pullover running bra from Brooks’ new Dare Collection for my “social distancing fitness routine” - at-home workouts and outdoor runs. This bra has built-in molded cups that help reduce breast motion, which is so hard to find in a good running bra!

Sweats but make them presentable: Still gotta turn the video cam on in these conference calls

I bought this Entireworld sweat suit back during the holidays and love it so much I just bought another for all these work from home days! They’re so soft. It’s embarrassing how often I wear them.

I’m a big fan of vintage and upcycle sellers, and also picked up this tie-dye sweat suit from Shop Future for some variety. I love the look of these, and the feel of worn-in sweats can’t be beat!

I also just picked up this cute sweat set from Sincerely Jules’ new Billabong collection. I’ve been a Sincerely Jules fan from the beginning, and adore the vibrant color and feminine details of this set (and her whole collection!)

Layers but for the home office: Because it’s cold in mine

My home office is in a little nook next to a window, so cardigans are key for keeping warm. I have my eye on this cotton wrap cardigan (it’s like a bathrobe) and the texture crop cardigan – because you can never go wrong with Everlane.

I also have my eye on a couple from & Other Stories, including this cute cropped number with dinosaur buttons (!!!) and the incredible green of this alpaca one.

What are some of your work-from-home wardrobe essentials?
